Like speeder bikes or STAPs as scout cavalry, and hover tanks such as the IFT-X and AAT as heavy cavalry.
It would have been much better if they'd made cavalry as faster ground vehicles.
The cavalry units as well I absolutely hated. I get that there were limitation and that they wanted them in to be Star Warsy but it just looks silly to me and doesn't have that Star Wars feel at all. The way the starfighters work as just hovering air units I never liked. There are a lot of things about that game that I don't like. Honestly if they were to get the rights to develop a Star Wars game I'd rather them make a sequel to it or a new game altogether.

I like Galactic Battlegrounds, but I wouldn't be willing to pay more than $10 for a remaster if it's mostly a graphics update and some QoL changes. You have to factor not just how many people would be willing to buy it, but how much those people are willing to pay for it. Well they'd have to get the rights to do it and that alone would possibly cost more than it would be worth to actually do it. The only reason they still piecemeal and cut / withhold content is because it works and people even in 2019 are still pre-ordering. Even the deluxe edition has 2 skins for an extra $10. Anyone making videos or streaming with the orange lightsaber should be publicly shamed and mocked. Are we supposed to wait 2, 3, 4 years post-release for a product to be fleshed out nowadays?Ĭan we start publicly shaming/ridiculing people who pre-order games though? And to be fair they have put a lot of work into Battlefront 2, it's a much better game now. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order does look good though. The Star Wars offerings we've gotten from EA have been absolutely pathetic. well they don't care about games in general but that's something else altogether :smug: Doesn't EA still own the sole rights to all games Star Wars? I adore AoE II, but SWGB has space ships and, well, it's Star Wars :extralife: Spent endless hours in my early teens on multiplayer, would be amazing if a rerelease would revive the community.
